The growth of anaerobic digestion units comes with an essential challenge: efficiently managing digestate volumes while maximizing the recovery of the resources it contains.

The hybrid MVR & HTHP system — MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) technology combined with a high-temperature heat pump (HTHP) — developed by FE, helps reduce energy consumption while maintaining high treatment performance.
These solutions also make it possible to integrate and make use of the heat available on site, improving the overall efficiency of the facilities.
