Concentration de sucre par evapo-concentration: depuis près de dix ans, nous collaborons étroitement avec un acteur majeur du secteur agroalimentaire. Ce partenariat de longue durée nous a permis de mettre en œuvre notre savoir-faire dans l’intégration d’évaporateurs sur plusieurs de leurs sites de production, dans une logique de durabilité.
A new strategic phase from 2022
Since 2022, this partnership has taken a new step forward with a clear objective: to concentrate different types of sugars by evapo-concentration, in order to reduce energy consumption and lower the carbon footprint of industrial processes.
The principle ?
Éliminer l’eau par évaporation pour obtenir un produit sucré à la concentration précise souhaitée, tout en récupérant et recyclant l’énergie utilisée au cours du processus.
Pour relever ce défi, nous avons conçu et mis en œuvre un ensemble de 5 évaporateurs, couplés à 5 Compresseurs Mécaniques de Vapeur (CMV), permettant une valorisation maximale de l’énergie.
A significant carbon footprint
The results are as high as the stakes:
- 15,000 tonnes of CO₂ saved every year,
- That’s the equivalent of 15,000 round-trip flights from Paris to New York.
These performances demonstrate the relevance of a well-mastered technology, applied to existing industrial sectors, with immediate benefits for the climate.
Multiple, high value-added applications
Les sucres concentrés obtenus ne sont pas simplement valorisés dans l’agroalimentaire. Ils trouvent des débouchés variés et stratégiques :
- In the manufacture of pharmaceutical excipients, where purity and concentration are essential,
- In the food industry, notably for the production of iconic sweets loved by all,
- In industry, as a substitute component in cement manufacture, replacing more polluting raw materials.
A direct contribution to cleaner industry
This project is a concrete example of how our technologies, when properly integrated into industrial processes, can :
- Significantly reduce energy consumption,
- Limit greenhouse gas emissions,
- And to give a second life to products, in a logic of circular valorization.
