MVR Training in Salt Lake City: Sharing Expertise and Advancing Energy-Efficient Evaporation Solutions

Last month, FE4 participated in the MVR training event hosted by PILLER at the Salt Lake City Airport Glycol Reclamation Plant (USA). Over two days, engineers and industrial process specialists came together to explore the practical operation of a live two-stage Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) system.

More than a conventional training session, the event provided a unique opportunity to observe MVR technology in a real industrial environment and exchange knowledge on the latest developments in energy-efficient evaporation and thermal separation processes.

Mechanical Vapor Recompression has become one of the most effective technologies for reducing energy consumption in industrial evaporation processes.

During the training, participants were able to examine the complete operating logic of a two-stage MVR installation, including:

  • applications in evaporation and thermal separation.
